Meet the Trustee: Susan Carter
Susan J. Carter joined the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) Board of Trustees in January 2017. Her term concludes on December 31, 2021.
 
Ms. Carter is an independent director of BlackRock Multi-Asset Mutual Funds and a board member of Girls Who Invest. She is also a member of the advisory boards of Bridges Ventures U.S., the Private Capital Research Institute, and the Tuck Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship.
 
Prior to serving on boards, for 25 years Ms. Carter held roles of increasing scope at Commonfund Capital, Inc., a global private capital investment firm, including President and CEO.
 
Before Commonfund Capital, Ms. Carter worked at Morgan Stanley and General Electric Company.
 
Ms. Carter holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Lafayette College.
